Payment processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) provide us with payment status and non-card metadata; we do not receive or store full card numbers.

Service providers that help run ETA (website hosting via Squarespace, email providers, payment processors like Stripe/PayPal, analytics, cloud storage). They may use data only to provide their services to ETA.

With your direction (e.g., when you publicly share a testimonial).

Donations & payments
Donations are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe or PayPal). Your card data is handled by them under their security and privacy certifications; we receive only confirmation and limited transaction details needed for records and receipts.
Member Areas (Student, Parent, Nonprofit)
If you create or are invited to a Member Area, we process your login and profile information to provide access to private resources. Some content may be viewable by other members in the same area (e.g., shared announcements). For children and students, see the Kids & Student Privacy Policy for additional protections and parental consent.
Children’s privacy
We take extra care with minors. See our Kids & Student Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and obtain parental consent for children’s data. If you believe we collected a child’s personal information without proper consent, contact us and we’ll address it promptly.
Your choices & rights
Email preferences: click Unsubscribe in our emails or contact us.
Access, update, delete: email info@empoweredtoachieve.org to request access, correction, or deletion of your information (subject to legal/recordkeeping limits).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and ask about categories of data we collect and disclose. We do not sell personal information. Submit requests at info@empoweredtoachieve.org.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for operations, donor records, program reporting, and legal/accounting obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, and least-privilege practices). No method is 100% secure; contact us immediately if you suspect an issue.
International visitors
Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on lawful bases and, where needed, appropriate transfer safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll adjust the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
