Parent Portal Policy

1. Purpose

The Empowered To Achieve (ETA) Parent Portal is provided to give parents and guardians secure access to their student’s academic progress, volunteer hours, fundraising milestones, and scholarship opportunities. This policy ensures that parent access supports the student experience while protecting student privacy.

2. Access and Eligibility

  • Parent Portal access is available to parents or legal guardians of enrolled students.

  • Each parent/guardian will receive unique login credentials.

  • Sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals is not permitted.

  • Misuse of the Parent Portal may result in suspension of access.

3. Data Privacy and Security

  • The Parent Portal contains student information protected under federal and state privacy regulations.

  • ETA will not sell or share student information with outside parties except as required by law or for program administration.

  • All student data is securely stored and monitored by ETA.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Parents may view their student’s records, progress, and milestones.

  • Downloading, copying, or redistributing portal content for purposes other than supporting the student is prohibited.

  • Parents must not attempt to alter or interfere with student records.

5. Parent Responsibilities

  • Protect your login credentials and notify ETA immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

  • Support your student by reviewing information and communicating with ETA staff when needed.

  • Use the Parent Portal for its intended purpose only.

6. ETA Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate student records and portal information.

  • Protect the confidentiality and security of student and parent data.

  • Provide technical support and updates related to portal access.
