Student Portal Policy

1. Purpose
The Empowered To Achieve (ETA) Student Portal is provided to give students secure, read-only access to their academic progress, volunteer hours, fundraising milestones, and scholarship opportunities. The purpose of this policy is to protect student data, outline acceptable use, and ensure the integrity of ETA’s programs.
2. Access and Eligibility
Each student will be assigned a unique login for the Student Portal.
Parents/guardians may receive access to a separate Parent Portal.
Sharing login credentials is not permitted.
Unauthorized access or attempts to manipulate information will result in suspension of portal privileges.
3. Data Privacy and Security
The Student Portal contains personally identifiable information (PII).
ETA will not sell or share student information with outside parties except as required by law or for program administration.
All student data is stored securely within ETA’s systems.
4. Acceptable Use
Students may view their personal records, progress, and milestones.
Downloading, copying, or redistributing portal content is prohibited.
Any misuse of the portal, including attempts to access another student’s information, will result in disciplinary action.
5. Student and Parent Responsibilities
Review your information regularly and report any inaccuracies to ETA staff.
Protect your login information and notify ETA immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Use the portal respectfully and only for its intended purpose.
6. ETA Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student information.
Protect the confidentiality and security of student records.
Provide technical support and timely updates about portal access.
7. Agreement
By accessing the Student Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this policy.
